“Kanban Management Professional” is a 2-day advanced level course that will help participants build on their existing knowledge of Kanban Method and will help them take their current Kanban implementation to the next level.
From the Workshop:
The flexibility of Kanban and its far reaching benefits have been widely appreciated by organizations. Even the most basic Kanban has been proven to help improve performance- hence there is a huge demand for Kanban specialists who can implement the principles and smoothly manage work. With in-depth exercises and coaching from a certified expert, the Kanban Management Professional class focuses on the rollout and daily operation of a Kanban system. Participants will learn what type of Kanban initiative to use and how to manage and evolve it for smooth functioning of future processes.
After completing this course and the Kanban Systems Design course, participants will receive a certification from the Lean Kanban University, and become well-versed with Kanban basics such as limiting work in progress by using the pull-based workflow, visualizing work, measuring and managing flow and using collaboration to manage and effect change and thus increase the efficiency of services to customers. Participants will become well-versed with Kanban cadence through meetings like Replenishment, Commitment and Delivery planning, Service Delivery, and Risk Reviews.
There are no prerequisites for attending this course. But attendees should be familiar with the Kanban Method and a conceptual overview of the full "alternative path to agility.” Course participants are encouraged to read the book Kanban by David J. Anderson and Kanban from the Inside by Mike Burrows.
On successful completion of the course, candidates will get a Certificate of Completion- KMP II class and get the credential of Kanban Management Professional, if the participant has also completed KPM - I.
Managers and team members who want to implement or improve their existing Kanban processes and CIO’s, department managers, line managers, team leaders, project managers, technical leaders, and engineers will find this course useful.
