Eligibility:

As of my last knowledge update in September 2021, here are the eligibility criteria for the PMP certification:

  1. Educational Requirements:
    • If you have a four-year degree (bachelor's degree) or global equivalent: You need a minimum of three years (36 months) of non-overlapping professional project management experience. Additionally, you must have accumulated 4,500 hours of leading and directing projects.
    • If you have a secondary degree (high school diploma, associate's degree, or global equivalent): You need a minimum of five years (60 months) of non-overlapping professional project management experience. Additionally, you must have accumulated 7,500 hours of leading and directing projects.
  2. Project Management Education:
  3. ou must also complete 35 contact hours of project management education. This requirement can typically be met through formal PMP exam preparation courses, which provide the necessary educational hours.
